A Little About Us
We raise the rare & beautiful American
Chinchilla rabbits for meat & fur, and
wonderful, friendly, low maintenance
Angora rabbits in beautiful colors for
Fiber. We expect in the future to have
both Angora Fiber & Yarn available, both
in lovely natural shades & hand-dyed,
but do not yet.
We sell Quality Breeding Stock in both
the American Chinchillas (altho you may
have to reserve in advance--we only sell
animals that meet our standards & are
often booked ahead), and Angoras,
For the sake of the animals health, to
better judge Quality, & ensuring happy
Customers, we do not sell rabbits under
the age of 3 months.
Because I enjoy showing them, we keep
Quality purebred French Angoras. We
also raise German x French Angoras for
Fiber Production. So whether you want
to show, are a Hand-Spinner wanting to
raise your own Luxury Fiber (it's
incredibly easy to do, & they're Very
Sweet!) from Low Maintenance bred
Angoras, or looking for a wonderful Pet,
we can probably help you!
We are located in Beautiful western
North Carolina, about an hour & a half
east of Asheville, with good roads to
Everywhere.
An Appointment is necessary, to come &
visit. Altho I have flown rabbits
successfully, I would prefer to have them
transported by car, by an experienced
rabbit-person. My experience is, that we
can often find someone reliable in the
rabbit world (full of friendly & helpful
people!) who is going to a Show, or a
Fiber Festival who is willing to transport
for a small fee--Usually all it requires is
some Patience!
